Wedding Supplier Wednesday - Pollen Nation

Happy Wedding Supplier Wednesday!

Isnt it a beautiful day outside? We have the PERFECT company for you today, the awesome Pollen Nation. Check out the beautiful flowers, what more could you want on a delightful Spring morning!
Lets here what Alison has to say:
I am Alison Trickey and my company is Pollen Nation. I am a florist that specialises solely in my passion of weddings and events. I am based in Shoreditch London, and will travel as far as practical or you will pay me! Website is www.pollen-nation.co.uk
I established the business back in 2004, and Pollen Nation started life as a florist shop in Chiswick before we answered our calling in 2006 to concentrate on weddings and events.
I decided to start my own business as after a career in the Olympic rowing team, I really didn’t want to go for a job interview!
Why am I different? I genuinely love what I do, I have not only a passion for flowers but a passion for people. I enjoy chatting to clients first, then enjoy designing their flowers. I have no pre-conceived ideas for anyone on how their wedding flowers should look, I listen, then create.
Best bit about the working day is the early mornings at the market – yes I am telling the truth! Quiet time, before everyone is up, checking out what would look lovely for my brides.

I work from a large studio in Shoreditch with my boyfriend (OK technically fiance as of a month ago), he does commercials and films in one corner, I create flower mess in the other. I have 2000 sq ft of creating space or dance floor depending on how busy I am. The people at Kew Gardens, Fulham Palace, RSA, The Elvetham and Grays Inn among others love what I do so are delightful enough to pop me on their recommended suppliers list and at the last count I have designed and created personally over 450 weddings countrywide for individual brides with individual styles. More please...:)

WOW is all i can say! Ordering flowers for Easter? I think Alison is your girl! Thank you for allowing us to feature you! We adore your work!

Have a lovely day!

Wedding Supplier Wednesday - Temple Gregory Wedding Planners

Happy Wedding Supplier Wednesday!

We hope you have had a good week in the sunshine! Hasn’t it been lovely.

Today we are featuring the awesome Rebecca Gregory of Temple Gregory Wedding Planners, lets hear what she has to say:

When did you establish your business?

I started wedding planning part time over 5 years ago, but took the plunge and went full time, setting up Temple Gregory properly, over 3 years ago.

Why did you decide to start your own business?

I was originally a lawyer and really hated it - I wanted to do something creative, whilst working for myself and starting Temple Gregory was the best decision I ever made. I now LOVE what I do and I could never say that as a lawyer!

Where are you based? (UK location, website etc)

Based in Winchester (Hampshire) and London, but cover weddings throughout the South East. Also do weddings abroad where brides are so inclined :)

How are you different from others offering the same/similar services?

Temple Gregory plans and designs luxury weddings, ensuring that every last detail is meticulously organised and utterly fabulous, so that at the end of it all my couple would not change a thing!

As well as the meticulous organisation and control of all admin and logistical matters, wedding design is also a very important part of what I do. A wedding should run smoothly but also look and feel fabulous and I think that both of these aspects create the perfect day.

I also have great suppliers that I work with who create amazing flowers, stationery, entertainment etc which all really go towards making the day.

What’s the best bit about your working day?

One of my brides said I was like her fairy god mother yesterday - that was nice! Apart from that I love most things - I genuinely love weddings and my brides and could not be happier doing anything else.

I think you can see by the photographs Rebecca certainly knows what she is doing!! For more info check out her blog: http://blog.templegregory.co.uk/

Thanks you for allowing us to feature you!!

Have a nice week!
