This week for our Wedding Supplier Wednesday we have a real treat for you. We spoke to the wonderfully talented Emma Muir from A Bespoke Design, based in Little Canfield in North West Essex, about how she got into the industry and why she enjoys it so much. Emma speaks with real enthusiasm about A Bespoke Design and her creations and just STUNNING! : ‘We design and create bespoke wedding & event stationery and venue décor… and when we say Bespoke, we mean every order is designed for each individual client ensuring a truly Bespoke Design! We only offer this service… we don’t have an “off-the-shelf” product so the vast majority of clients that come to us for their stationery are those looking for something totally unique and personal to them’
‘I have a great passion for everything I do, especially when a particular theme is important to a design (I spend hours on research), I relish a good challenge! I’m constantly on the lookout for inspiration for colours and fresh ideas. Forming a relationship with my clients is an extremely important factor when creating a design to match their personality… I often end up seeing my clients as much as they would a wedding planner with a variety of appointments running over an 18-month period to be able to cover everything from the design of the save-the-date cards through to the décor for the day…’
And I think you will agree the results are truly beautiful.
‘I’d helped friends and family out for years with invitations and ideas for their own wedding’s and parties. The turning point for “setting-up” the business came when I designed the stationery and décor for a friend’s 30th Birthday Party. The venue that hosted the party invited me to exhibit at their Wedding Fayre as they were so impressed with what I’d put together. So I created a range of samples to demonstrate a some original ideas and schemes and got a handful of bookings, generally based on the individuality of supply for potential clients’
‘I love meeting up with my clients for their sample viewing meeting… I relish in the feeling of achievement when I see their faces as they are looking at the designs I have created for them… So far (touch wood), I’ve never had a disappointing sample meeting! Setting up a venue for the day gives an equal feeling, all the little finishing touches and bringing the whole design together to see the finished result… Priceless!’Emma – were not surprised in the slightest. They really are gorgeous!

Its nice to feature a company we have so much in common with – we agree, ‘Bespoke’ is the way forward. A Wedding should be as unique as the Bride and Groom and putting your own stamp on things make it all the more special for the couple.
